I've started to experiment with Computer Generated Images. DAZ 3D was used to create the spectacular suits. The image was then enhanced using Paint.net. The ballroom rug is simply one of the backgrounds I created, but rotated, tilted, and tiled.

Note that Daz 3D is free. The Super Hero Suit package for Genesis 2 Male(s) was on sale for $10.77 . With it, you can create an infinite number of spandex suits. I went wild with the program this weekend. See my gallery for more images!

Yep, it definitely has the look of polished rubber!

Interestingly, all three of them are wearing the same suit! The two on the left are different only in color, pose and lighting angle. They were rendered with iRay, which produces shinier "realistic" images. The fellow on the right was rendered with 3Delight, which is much faster (on my computer) but shows fewer reflections, thus revealing more of a leather look, with seams et al.

The character's pose and size and be modified. (You can be thin, fat, tall, short, muscular, et cetera.) ;)

I plan to post a few more sample images in the gallery over the coming weeks.

I do like those. Just wondering if they have the same thing for female bodies.

I'd love to create some images of males and females in spandex together.

Also, how easy is it for alter the suits themselves?

As nice as they are turning out, I wish I discovered them a long time ago!

I was at the DAZ3d.com site last night, looking over the female suits. There appear to be far more packages available for the female form than for males! A lot of them, however, are catsuits. I'm not sure that they offer the same options, but that it okay too. I'll probably purchase a set and give it a try.

The bodies shapes and positions are fairly easy to modify. You can even turn them into elves. The patterns on the suits are much more limited, but that is easily fixed by using layers in Paint.net, and overlaying your own patterns onto the suit, usually by using the multiply or additive property for that layer. Coloring and texture can also be changed in Paint.net.
